Year 2010. Designed a restaurant for Italian cuisine for the given space. Three adjectives define my design concept: RUSTIC, ROUGH, WITH AUTHENTIC DETAILS. Had to design the reception, dining area, drink bar, salad bar, mezzanine floor, kitchen, toilets and outdoor space for dining.
Made research on:
-fundamentals of hospitality design requirements for designing restaurants and cafes;
-charactersitics of the type of cuisine I selected.
Client and user needs were considered in detail. Accessibility, fire safety and escappe routes were considered.
